Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt

what a fairy tale we went to see this evening! a lovely start to the christmas holidays....

sometimes, the illuminations were interactive
there were bubbles
disco balls
fairy lights everywhere
a snow queen fairy on stilts (?!)

and then we had mulled wine / hot chocolate
listened to christmas carols by the choir in which my friend sings (beautifully)
the kids went on the merry-go-round

they're reading the 'enchanted wood' books at the moment

so tonight's experience couldn't have been more magical :-)
